I just wanted to clarify that the site will remain active until June. It may not be updated often, if at all, but it will remain active. The message board will remain open and active indefinitely. A lot of people chat there, and I certainly do not want to take that away from anyone!

As I'm sure many of you are aware, there is a small group of people who have been reeking havoc on the JDM fandom for the last three years (at least that I'm aware of). I have kept my distance and not participated in their immature games, all the while being accused of wrong-doing and being personally attacked (publicly and by name, no less). However, the actions of these girls over the last couple of days needs to be addressed.

First, allow me to set the record straight about a few things. I have had my email address hacked into, my message board administrator account hacked into, and my MySpace account hacked into. I have been cyberstalked by these girls incessantly. One of them even went as far as to call my house. I have since pretty much stopped using MySpace and have had to change all of my administrator accounts. Why are these girls doing this? I honestly can't say. This kind of immature and childish behavior from grown women is simply unjustifiable. It defeats the purpose of a fandom. We are all here to support the same person and to share our thoughts and experiences. However it seems that these girls want to own the entire JDM fandom. I am not the only person they have persistently harassed. With the exception of these specific people, the rest of us site owners all get along very well and collaborate often. I think that speaks volumes.

I also wish to point out that I have never used my site to violate or abuse Jeff's privacy. I did not post, or even reference the article that released Jeff's home address, nor have I mentioned the latest personal rumor. These things are Jeff's personal business, yet it has been posted front and center by these girls on their sites. And these people claim to be friends of Jeff's. Some friends. This kind of behavior is just deplorable.

The latest infraction occurred yesterday. I posted my own personal photos on both my Facebook and on my message board. These photos were taken and posted on a large tabloid site, without my permission. As a result, private photos are being circulated and negative comments are being made. Many of you I have spoken to on a personal level, and have shared things about my life. I was with my terminally ill father in the hospital yesterday when these photos were pilfered and posted to that site. I have since deleted the account at the site and demanded removal of the photos. That was the last straw. The last straw should have been last year when my email account was hacked into and a couple of emails were sent from "me" containing Jeff's personal information. While those emails were being sent, I was attending my brother's funeral. Don't get me wrong, this is not a woe is me message. This is to point out that some things in life are more important than a fandom. Apparently, these girls are too far gone in their obsession to see that.

I could sit here and provide screen caps and other proof that they will no doubt attempt to make excuses for and talk their way out of. So I won't waste any more of my time. The proof has been given to individuals that matter. The police department. This is the second police report filed, that I am aware of. I have no idea how deranged these people really are, or to what lengths they will go to in order to own the fandom.

I have come to the difficult decision to phase out my site. I'm too damn old to play these childish games. Yes, another JDM site has fallen prey to these girls. It's sad that JDM fan sites are unable to coexist because these girls refuse to allow it. I know that I have behaved ethically and with only Jeff's best interests at heart. These girls can make up all of the lies and false claims that their petty minds can come up with. I know the truth, and the people that count know the truth. Let these girls harass someone else. Eventually they will be seen for who and what they are. So I guess they have won whatever game they think are playing. I hope their children are proud. Some example they are setting, that's for sure! Nevertheless, these are not the kind of people I choose to associate with. They have no scruples and I don't wish to take part in a fandom that condones this kind of behavior. So I will be gradually phasing out jeffreydeanmorganfans.com. The site has been my baby for three years, and it saddens me that it has come to this. I have met some truly awesome people through the site, and for that I am grateful.
